The Society of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (SOCVPR) in collaboration with the Pratibha Prabhakar Pulmonary Rehab center(PPRC) is aiming to address the reluctance and misconceptions surrounding oxygen therapy. While oxygen therapy is a lifeline for many lung conditions, there is often a fear of becoming dependent on it or looking sick with the equipment. Additionally, the high cost of portable equipment may discourage individuals from investing in it. To dispel these myths and provide accurate information about oxygen therapy, a talk on the “ABC of Oxygen Therapy in Chronic Lung Disease Patients” will taken by Dr. Prabhudesai a Renowned Pulmonologist on occasion of the PR week 2024.
